LRD Search is an boutique executive search firm with a focus on placing talented human resources professionals. We work across all industries nationwide. Our diverse clients include Fortune 500 companies and smaller privately held companies. In addition to human resources, we have experience placing finance and legal professionals.
We work with our clients to determine a fee structure that best meets their needs. While contingent search is the bulk of our business, we recommend a retained search fee structure when extensive research is required to find passive candidates with a specialized skill set. We also offer project based fee structures for research and candidate generation projects.

MEET THE TEAM
Laura Daisak, Founder
Laura has 25 years of experience in human resources as a generalist, executive recruiter, and training director with JP Morgan, Woolworth Corporation, The Limited, Inc., Citibank, and The Bergen Briller Group.
As a Human Resources Executive for the Limited Inc.’s Bath & Body Works and Mast Industries Divisions, Laura developed recruiting strategies to build the marketing and product development, and IT functions for this growing company. The senior executives she hired drove incredible growth in sales. She also provided generalist support to the retail field organization including employee relations, the creation of a new performance management process and a leadership training program.
As a VP/Director of Performance Improvement, Laura led the Washington, DC training function for the retail segment of Citibank. Laura helped transition the department from classroom training to a consultative performance improvement function.
From 2004 to 2008, Laura was a Staffing Director for The Bergen Briller Group, a retained search firm specializing in the placement of Human Resources professionals across industries nationwide. She has placed generalists, HR leaders, compensation & benefits professionals, and organizational development specialists.
Laura graduated at the top of her class from Cornell University with a B.S in Industrial & Labor Relations. Laura resides in Princeton, NJ with her husband and two children.
Rene Ten Hagen
Rene brings 20 years of experience in recruiting and managing client relationships. Rene joined LRD Search in 2009. She was most recently a recruiter for the Bergen Briller group focusing on HR executive search for Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to that, Rene was a Senior Account Manager for Chubb Computer Services a wholly owned subsidiary of The Chubb Corporation. At Chubb, she facilitated each phase of the performance management process including: client needs analysis, recruiting, monitoring training and co-managing Right to Hire consultants at the client site. Rene routinely managed 75 to 100 consultants at any time.
Prior to this role Rene was Director of Career Services for Chubb. Her primary focus in this position was to place information technology graduates with client companies.
Rene has a BA degree from Lafayette College. She resides in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband and daughter.
